PrinK at the Oxford! Ninth of March! My Dad’s Birthday!

Well here it is people, the night we’ve all been waiting for. The boys are back in town and playing at the Oxford in Totterdown. Come and celebrate my Dad’s birthday, a full two hundred miles away form where he’ll be – it’s the thought that counts! The boys have all evening to themselves so expect more wrongness and more made up tunes like ‘Snickers Feet’ and ‘Volvo Monkey’. Cue the links!

Merry PrinKmas one and all!

Following a rip roaring gig at The Oxford in aid of Hillcrest school PrinK are set to storm into next year by, er, having a few weeks off. Family commitments and what-not mean that most of the band are indisposed until 2012 so if the world still exists then be sure to celebrate by coming to see the boys play. In the meantime, here’s a little something they whipped up by means of a thank you for all your support in 2011.

Gigs and more gigs!

Get on up and get down party PrinKple! The boys have been confirmed to play at The Thunderbolt on December the Second. They will be taking to the stage alongside local boys Vamos, a lively bunch of euro-up-beat-folkaholics, and a bunch thats local to me Waiting for Kate bringing some bouncy street ska! Four quid advance or a fiver on the door. There’s also been some talk about them hitting the Oxford before the end of the year.

Peace, Terrence

Soundcloud loveliness

Why hello there internet land. The boys have been hard at work yet again spreading their PrinK-y goo all over the internet as thickly as possible. Well, that’s what the press release I have here says. Anyway what has actually resulted form this goo-spreading is the Demo has appeared on soundcloud. This means you can now tell us exactly what you like, or don’t, about our tracks and we’ll get to know about it. Check it out here: PrinKmusic.co.uk by PrinK

PrinK play Brisfest Fundraiser at Mr Wolf’s in Bristol on Thursday the 15th Sept

Hey guys, just to let you know the the boys will be out in all their finery to play a Brisfest fund-raiser this Thursday the Fifteenth of September at Mr Wolf’s in Bristol. If you couldn’t schlep all the way out to Box to get your fill of PrinK then Wolfies is much more accessible to the Bristol Crew so you have no excuses! Get your mates to get their dancing shoes and their moshing boots, put them on, and drag their asses down to Mr Wolf’s for a night of jouyous partying for a great cause. Other bands include the funk-a-hipto-crypto-groovalicious-funky-nana-steins SoulFi and the compelling Hawthorn.

I’ll be in the corner dressed like a Zombie, T

Box Rocks!

Hey guys, great news! The boys will be playing at Box Rocks this bank holiday Monday the Twenty Ninth of August as is evident on their website: http://www.boxrocks.biz/

Ian tells me they will have the full line up including the new brass guys, which should sound amazing. Sweet. See you there, oh and bring a video camera!

Baririffic!

Well, another post another new player! I have the fortune of telling you that the boys now have a baritone sax in the ranks to fatten up those brass riffs with the big end. Rob’s his name and Bari’s his game. We’ve had a few rehearsal and it’s sounding great. Looking forward to our gig at Box Rocks on August Bank holiday Monday so come along and see how we stack up.
